RIBs are extremely safe, which is why they are the first choice for rescue services, marine police and special forces around the world.
ZOOM was built in the UK to stringent UK safety standards and is equipped with all safety equipment required for commercial operation in Hong Kong.
All passengers MUST wear lifejackets. You will be provided with the latest self-inflating life jacket before your trip. These are extremely lightweight and comfortable but meet stringent buoyancy and safety standards
You will be given a short safety briefing at the start of your trip – please make sure you follow all instructions you are given.
Environment
Hong Kong’s waters are not as clean and pollution free as we would like them to be. ZOOM RIBS are determined to improve the situation. Please make sure you do not drop any items or trash into the sea – either deliberately or by accident. We use the latest Suzuki four stroke lean burn engines
(which are very fuel efficient and have the lowest emissions in their class).
